Job Description:
This position will be primarily responsible for assisting with the implementation of Oracle WebCenter both from the business and technical perspectives. Will be responsible for participating in the delivery of web portal solutions by estimating, planning, designing, developing and implementing portal/content management-based applications. Responsibilities will include:
- Work with business customers and other team members to translate functional requirements into technical designs
- Configuring WebCenter software to meet business requirements- Working closely with the customer to design and configure the user interface
- Design, configure and implement workflows
- Assist with design and implementation of document security model
- Installation and configuration of web application servers and components (i.e. Tomcat, WebLogic, or Oracle Application Server)
- Design and implement metadata model for content contribution, storage and retrieval
- Migrating existing portal content into WebCenter
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of overall web-based development experience
- Experience with Oracle WebCenter (11 preferred) or WebLogic Portal
- Full systems life cycle experience: gathering requirements, system and application design, hands-on development, testing, and implementation
- Experience on a development team in the deployment of both large and small applications
- 2+ years experience working on portal development and implementations
- 5+ years of experience with Web Services (XML, SOAP, WSDL)
- 2+ years experience in content management business requirements gathering
- Oracle ADF and ADF framework and Oracle UCM (formerly Stellent)
- Must have proven client facing skills, and the ability to both work independently as well as within a team
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge and/or working experience with RUP and Agile methodologies
- IT services/consulting background a plus
Education:
- Bachelors Degree required
- Masters Degree highly preferred
Salary:INR Less Than 50,000 - 60,000 P.A
